I’m going to start a feature that we’ll call WoW Forum Spotlight, where I’ll mention and discuss posts in the official WoW forums that caught my eye, and I think deserve a mention. They might be useful, comical, or just important.

If a hunter has a pet up, he will most likely have Mr. Fancy Pants macros that will force the pet passive when the trap is dropped. Well, next time, after you see Mr. Robin Hood Hunter drop a trap, tab target to the pet and Growl while in Bear form ;)
You have successfully just pulled his pet out of Passive mode, and forced it to attack you ;)
Then all you do is quite happily walk right over the freeze trap as the pet is doing his insignificant damage to your bear hide.
